Departing from Goshen, the diesel-powered train travels east through wooded mountain slopes, colorful farmland, open hayfields, and the small rural communities that give the Valley its character. Upon arrival, step directly from the train into one of Virginia’s most celebrated and walkable downtowns.
Spend two hours exploring Staunton’s beautifully preserved architecture, independent shops, art galleries, bakeries, cafés, wine bars, and restaurants. After enjoying the city at your own pace, return to the station for the scenic ride back to Goshen.
