As the train travels through the landscape where these stories unfolded, the forgotten tragedies and enduring folklore of the Valley come to life—with a few surprises along the way.
From railroad disasters and mysterious deaths to the stories people still tell about those who never quite left, The Last Passenger blurs the line between history and legend.

About the Wayne Theatre
The Wayne Theatre is a beloved historic performance space in Waynesboro, Virginia, first opened in 1926 as a vaudeville and motion‑picture house and beautifully restored as a nonprofit arts center in 2016. Today it presents a rich schedule of live theatre, and presenting acts, and serves as a hub for arts education through its Studio Wayne programs. With seating for a diverse range of performances and deep roots in the community, the Wayne Theatre brings high‑quality arts experiences to audiences from the Shenandoah Valley and beyond.
